I was expecting to learn how to be a yoga teacher at Turyia Yoga, which I did under the watchful and careful instruction of Manu, Suzana and their awesome guest teachers. I did not however expect to gain such insight into myself, my mind, my body and my health. The course was intense but mesmerising. Physically draining at times but so rewarding and strengthening. The balance of history, philosophy, anatomy and adjustment classes are so carefully thought through around the ashtanga primary series and hatha classes. Having talked to students from neighbouring schools, it seems that what sets Turyia aside from the other Goa courses is their strong belief in authenticity and hard work and their dedication to honouring the whole 200hrs. An immense life changing and emotional journey, guided and constantly supported by two beautiful souls in a setting of paradise in India, the heart of yoga. Namaste.

Turiya Yoga was amazing! It was a life changing experience, I love Suzana and Manu and their Teacher Training Course! I loved the ashtanga and hatha yoga classes. I was particularly looking forward to sequencing classes, those classes proved to be very useful, because we learnt to make our own sequences. Adjustment classes were so much fun and gave a deeper understanding of the postures. Yoga philosophy and anatomy classes were great and so were the guest lecturers. In my opinion Patnem Beach was the perfect venue for this course, because it has a calming atmosphere, but I am sure Suzana and Manu can make it work anywhere! It was a great experience and I would recommend anyone to go!

What an intense experience this YTTC! The teachers are very different among themselves, an excellent combination of West and East views on Yoga… That is surely necessary to teach yoga internationally! Something I actually realized after taking the course… I did also realized, speeecially after traveling more in India, that I was very lucky to have chosen Turiya Yoga as a school for my first yoga training… I’ve had some quite weird and pushy Yoga classes afterwards, squeezed between 30or 40 people!! Thanks Manu and Suzana, you guys bring in an experienced team, kind staff and home sweet home atmosphere. Hope to be able to stay next time and have that internship ;)

I highly recommend Turiya yoga! Of course, delicious food and well, it is Goa! But, I do recommend the school really. I had an amazing time, crazy amount of knowledge intake – it is quite a program! - and …well, just really happy to have spent such an intense month among beautiful people and real practitioners… Akash and Suzana are great teachers with a big big heart! Always there for you! To be honest, I didn’t even expect to really teach after the course… yoga is for sure my passion since very young but mainly did it for myself… however, it made me feel confident to give it a try and I am having so much fun with that.

My TTC experience with Turiya Yoga in Goa was outstanding. The group was small and intimate, and teachers dedicated all their attention and time to us. It was a life changing month, very intensive, yet so rewarding and full of knowledge. Perfect balance between energetic, stronger ashtanga approach by Manu and balanced, calmer, traditional hatha approach by Suzana. Turiya Yoga takes it serious: the hours are counted, the progam is full, everything is with high standards. And well, Goa of course and the place itself only add to the magical eperience I had. I learnt so much at Turiya Yoga. It was an experience I will never forget and I would definitely recommend to any one thinking about doing their 200hr YTTC in India. I improved my own self practice and learnt so much about yoga, its history, benefits and philosophy. The Teachers were thoughtful, kind and looked after me when I was sick. I am so glad I choose this school and I wish I could do it all over again! (maybe not getting sick part!)

Manu and Suzane are awesome Yoga teachers who bring their amazing gifts and open hearts to each class. While I expected to learn the philosophy, anatomy and the practice of Asanas, I was thrilled to also deepen my meditation practice and learn the principles of Ayurveda. I highly recommend this class. Manu and Suzane will push you to be the best!

5 stars from the bottom of my heart. I think I´ve probably never learned so much in 4 weeks, as I did at the Turiya Yoga - Yoga Teacher Training. Not that kind of learning for one point of time to forget afterwards, but that kind of integrating items forever. And this is, what makes Turiya magic. It is the proper combination of practicing Yoga every day and learning so much about the history, philosophy, anatomy and even scientific aspects of Yoga. And what I appreciated the most during the 4 weeks is, that Turiya Yoga doesn´t only tell, but show! So I had the living example right in front of my eyes, all the time. That means e.g. what I have learned about teaching methodology I also experienced in the way, Turiya teaches. It is exactly, what they live. Brilliant teacher. Everything I have learned has grown together. And I feel like I have the best conditions to start as a Yoga teacher. I have learned enough and feel encouraged to start and I also know, that there are many seeds inside of me, that will grow further in the next months and years. Thank you, Suzana and Manu. Keep on doing it that way <3

I have not taken their yoga....TTC...but i am a personal admirer of Manu, the owner. We met over very few days in the mountains of Dharamshala, where we began a weird "Bromance"! I like his infectious energy, his happiness quotient, his sense of warmth and camraderie. These days, we tend to forget that yoga teachers need to imbibe certain spiritual qualities as part of their whole packaging. Wisdom and Joy! I feel Manu(Akash) has that, and that transmission will enable his students, and that of TEAM Turiya to percolate down to the students. it will serve as an example. Go people. Go team Turiya, help your students achieve the TURIYA state of consciousness, beyond all name and form. Hari Om haidakhandi~~

I can highly recommend Turiya Yoga School. The spot in Goa they chose is truly inspiring. The program is very extensive but completely worthwhile (really, I mean every class!) I learned so much about Hatha, Ashtanga, adjustment in those styles plus how to use props! I can hardly believe it was only a month! The teachers and students were all from different parts of the world and I was so glad we could share this time together in such a friendly vibe.
