Founded in 2010 by three yogis, Adishakti is a passion project dedicated to spreading the knowledge of yoga around the world. Bandhas or locks play an important role in yoga practice by guiding the flow of energy towards the inner channels(nadies) in the body during asana and pranayama practice.
literally means psychic sleep or yogic sleep, it’s the practice of pratyahara where we withdraw our senses towards ourself while keeping awareness of our body, mind and sensory organs. Where now a days we would not have proper sleep because of our stressfull thoughts and are unable to relax even during the sleep. here we emphasose to relax our entire body and mind and energy by connecting to our own stillness inside.

We base our class on how to protect our joints and muscles during the sometimes tough practice of asana. Learning to perform the asana correctly and align the body according to one’s flexibility with the help of expert guidance and props one slowly but surely goes deeper without the risk of an injury. We focus on dangers encountered on the mat and how to avoid injuries, difficult poses are given their due respect and attention and are handled gently while not overlooking broadening of one’s horizons on the mat.
