Since ten years I am practising yoga to ekagrata - a one pointed mind - Only when mind is focused in its subtlest unit, we can realize our true self and the ultimate aim of yoga is accomplished. I developed techniques, which I can make accessible for everyone, according to their level of experience and flexibility. Whether you are new on the path of yoga and self-discovery or are looking to deepen your existing practice, I like to take you and your u I teach Hatha Vinyasa Yoga. Ha-tha comes from Sanskrit and means translated sun & moon. Why is that? Close your mouth and check your nasal breath flow at this moment. Most likely breath is flowing freely through one nostril only, while the other one is blocked. This is what most people experience in day-to-day life. In particular, right nostril breathing is more stimulating and relates to ths sun (extroverted) activation. Left nostril breathing is immobilizing and relates to moon (introverted) activation. Balancing these channels (Ida - Moon) and Pingala - Sun) (and meanwhile experiencing simultaneous nostril breathing) to activate the central channel Sushumna, is the key in achieving higher consciousness. Most people however live and die in Ida and Pingala; Sushumna, the central space, remains dormant. But Sushumna is the most significant aspect of human physiology. Only when energies enter into Sushumna, life really begins. Right now, you are reasonably balanced, but if for some reason the outside situation goes crazy, you will most likely go crazy,too. This is the nature of Ida and Pingala.
They are reactive to the external world. However, once the energies enter into Sushumna, you attain to a new kind of balance, an inner balance where whatever happens outside, there is a certain space within you which never gets disturbed and which cannot be touched by outside situations. It is assumed, that enlightend people (Jesus, Buddha, Amma) mastered energy flow through the sushumna channel. Our style of yoga with ancient tantric yoga techniqes constitutes of a set of asanas, breathing exercises and meditation, stimulating energy flow in the Sushmuna channel.
