Living in Bali, two friends, Thomas Talucci and Howard Klein, had a dream of recreating an original Indonesian village. Throughout their travels and after 10 years of living in Indonesia, they have collected beautiful antique wooden homes and traditional furnishings, representing different cultures and traditions of Indonesian lifestyle. Fulfilling their dream, they have created Desa Seni, a Village Resort.
THE HOTEL
Desa Seni offers unique accommodations in original antique wooden homes, imported from the many islands of Indonesia, where each house has been lovingly restored and refurbished. At Desa Seni, you will live amidst original artifacts and antiques reflecting true Indonesian culture and heritage.
YOGA
Desa Seni’s yoga program offers a variety of classes, all led by a qualified and dedicated team of teachers. Open to the community with all props provided and a delicious lemongrass tea served after class. Classes vary in level of practice and are noted on the schedule.
THE COLLECTIVE
Desa Seni’s School of Yoga is internationally accredited by The Yoga Alliance and brings together a team of highly experienced teachers who provide daily classes, personal yoga retreats, continuing education courses and teacher trainings in a supportive and nurturing environment.
THE SPA
Desa Seni’s Merapu Svaasthya spa program offers traditional and holistic treatments with Western and Eastern therapies, where healing and health are a focus, bringing together a team of specialists to restore and revitalize the body, mind and soul.

Committed to supporting the people of Indonesia, our team originates from over 20 different islands across the archipelago. This mix of religions and cultures allows us to honour and respect all the religious holidays and traditions, while also creating a cohesive atmosphere where we are all equal.
The Village Cabin is our smallest house, for a single person, with a queen bed, a private bathroom and rain shower, a lovely front porch and a private garden, located very close to the pool. Single only USD 150++ The Shared Houses have 2 private bedrooms and 2 private bathrooms. The common space is a shared living room with wonderful outdoor spaces. These houses have lovely views of the tropical lush gardens. You will have private use of one bedroom and bathroom and share the common space with another person. Single USD 150++, Double USD 185++.
