Better Together Ubuntu is a Zulu term that means “I am Me because you are Youâ€.. An awareness of global wholeness and interdependence. A simple yet powerful realisation of our deep connectedness with each other, the environment and the universal. The Balinese culture is founded on a similar principle called “Tri Hita Karana†or the 3 actions of Harmonious Living. Where, for each endeavour to sustain itself the individual seeks to support the community, the environment and the Gods. In simple terms it means that we can only succeed in life if we also take care of each other, support the environment and nourish the spiritual. Understanding that being successful in life not only means having plenty but sharing and giving plenty. It is a vision based on sacred economics where resources abound and are shared from the heart. Ubuntu Bali Founders Damien de Bastier After teaching all these years what inspires me the most is to watch people using yoga to transform themselves and grow into their fullness. It s an honor to be a part of that process and guide them along.. Ubuntu was born from that inspiration as a haven where people can find the tools to work on themselves and go deeper into their unfolding. We provide yoga practice but also courses in yoga philosophy, anatomy, breathwork, meditation, permaculture and creative arts, all in a beautiful garden setting.
