Blue Bay Divers

I‘ve stayed for three months at this beautiful place and Blue Bay (Justus) taught me to become a Divemaster. I can‘t imagine a better place to do this Training. The sociable meetings in the evening and the helpful informations about what we’ve seen on that day were fantastic. The employees are great and the food is delicious. Great people and a totally fascinating underwater world make your visit worth it. Thank you all!

We quarantined aboard "Sunshine" a 34 m Phinisi anchored in the lagoon just off the resort island beach. It is very spacious and nicely appointed with multiple decks and livings spaces. It was perfect for our family of 5. (we have 3 kids aged 9 to 14) and they enjoyed the freedom to swim, snorkel and fish from the boat. The staff was always ready to shuttle us to and from shore in the dinghy. Mobile internet is a bit better on the boat than it is on shore, but the wifi at the bale is best. All our kids were doing online school and managed to get everything done. Breakfast and lunch are served aboard in the main salon, and for evening meals we went ashore to the restaurant, which included live music from the hard working staff. We were given our own dining time to provide plenty of social distance. The island resort has a limited capacity, so there are not many guests even when full. We had the Phinisi to ourselves, but it could handle another family on the upper deck if needed. Each stateroom, (I believe there are 5 in all) come equipped with bunk beds, (the lower ones large size and the uppers singles) AC, a full bathroom with shower. Also lots of storage. The boat is moored in a lagoon, so there was very little noticeable movement. The generator runs most of the day, except for "Swim time" between 8:00 am and noon. I can't imagine doing the Q any other way. It felt like a holiday and being on a boat made it really special and adventurous. All our transfers and shuttles to and from the mainland were handled brilliantly.
