Langkawi Yoga

We enjoyed a yoga class with Dorothy and a Pilates class with Ann. Both are great teachers who know how to adjust the exercises to all levels. We got an introduction on the basics ( pose, breathing) about 20 min before Pilates class and really appreciated that.

Had amazing yoga sessions at Westin Hotel & Spa in Langkawi. Thank you so much Sok Cha and Wong. Your're the best. Really enjoyed your sessions on the beach. Totally amazing setting. I will be back for sure. Miss you

If you are a yogie I highly recommend a yoga retreat or a class with Dorothy @ Ambong Ambong.... stunning location, Dorothy is the best yoga instructor I have practiced with.... I've been to yoga retreats & classes in Koh Samui & Phuket I was very disappointed.

We did the 5 day yoga retreat with Dorothy from Langkawi Yoga and stayed at Ambong Ambong. Dorothy had organised everything for the 5 days including dinners, a mangrove kayak tour with Wendy (wendynatureguide.com) and massages. We did a mix of private and group classes, all held on a beautiful platform at Ambong Ambong. Dorothy structured each session slightly differently, giving us experiences of asana, meditation, pranayama, reiki and relaxation. She tailored each private session to work on improving our technique and developing our knowledge and understanding of a variety of yoga postures. She was very patient and explained the anatomical basis of the practice clearly. We thoroughly enjoyed each session and highly recommend this as part of any Langkawi holiday.

My friends and I were in the search of an affordable yoga retreat and we found Langkawi yoga ! We stayed at Ambong Ambong in order to save some walking steps. The instructor, Dorothy is friendly and knowledgeable. Her yoga styles suit any retreat participants. As the class size is small, yoga postures would be corrected as much as possible. The practise area is located at an outdoor compound @Ambong Ambong. Other than the warrior mosquitoes (probably same at the other areas), we were glad to share our yoga practice with Dorothy
