Dhamma Mandapa Vipassana Meditation Center

Located on Jalgaon-Aurangabad highway this is the 2nd such center in North Maharashtra region. First one is in Dhule district. They teach meditation technique called vipassana here for free which helps people stabilize and control mind using this technique. Maitri Hills is one great place for doing vipassana in solitude.

Dhamma Jalgaon is one of the many centers of Vipassana spread all over the world. It is situated on hilly land of 1.5 Acre, which was given as donation by one of the sadhak. The land is located on Ajanta Road, 12 km from Jalgaon & 48 km from world Heritage Ajanta. It was an unanimous demand that a meditation centre should be created in Jalgaon as per the will of punia Guruji, expressed by him at Jalgaon in 1996. In the year 2010 the activities of meditation started on the land, below the sacred Neem tree. Pujya Guruji himself named the centreter as DHAMMA JALGAON in his last days. I hope wvery body enjoy and feel piece of mind here.

Best place to learn about meditation and learn what is real dhamma. Place is surround with greenary as well as quite place to meditate. Living facility available there as well as canteen aslo present there. A big dhamma hall present so that you can meditate there. I have been there for 10 days shivir. If you eagar to learn about meditation you must visit once.

I am so grateful for this center and for the creation of this work. I attended in October 2106 and again in Jan 2018. Before attending my first 10 day course, I was full of anxiety and confusion about my life's purpose and I had a strong determination to understand this existence. I felt very lost. After this course, I had a profound inner peace from the practice and the knowledge gained from it. The center grounds are the perfect peaceful setting for this deep inner work that was so different than what I imagined. the volunteers and teachers are so supportive and yet they give you the space you require to do the work. the food was absolutely delicious beyond my belief! Everyone experiences this differently and I had a life changing one that is still serving me to this day. The second time I went, I served in the kitchen and even behind the scenes great things are in order. To me, this work is the most valuable as it was effective in teaching me to access and experience myself as I truly am. Words are hardly adequate to describe it. I am so grateful that I answered the yearning of my inner self to do this course. True peace and happiness was and is the result for me. I absolutely love that it is provided free of charge, since this work is our birthright. Yet it is priceless. I went to a 10 day silent meditation retreat here about 3 years ago. Was definitely the hardest thing I've ever had to go through but it was completely worth it. A life changing experience that I would recommend to anybody who were thinking of taking the plunge into Vipassana meditation.
