WELCOME TO CORESTRENGTH PILATES, BARRE & YOGA Based in the centre of Howick, Core Strength specialises in fun, small, focused mat pilates, kids yoga & fitness combo classes - mixing pilates with barre, flow, boxing & hiit based workouts keeping the classes dynamic and suitable for all fitness levels. Rochelle Fleming (sole owner & instructor) believes in the results of pilates and yoga practice – focusing on improved balance, posture, flexiblity, core strength & toning – transforming the way a person's body feels, looks and performs. Rochelle has been practicing pilates for over 15 years and has been teaching for 9. Rochelle is an energised and engaged instructor who believes in the 'exercise in balance' pilates philosophy. She also connects with the community in bringing health and wellness into schools and community group environments. As a qualified Personal Trainer, Rochelle can also offer couple or one on one sessions to zone in on your goals as an individual and private groups. The beauty of the sessions are that you can participate in person or online with flexible pricing options available. In 2021 in addition to fun and fitness there will be many opportunities to take part in workshops, retreats, walking groups & monthly adventure walks / events. Bookings are essential for evening classes. Classes Personal Training Personal Training sessions are available with Rochelle, who has conducted her training through NZIHF (NZ Institute of Health and Fitness. In addition, Rochelle will be running Sunday Yoga Nidra relaxation sessions and wellness afternoons in the studio Core Kids Kids Yoga for primary and intermediate aged children from year 4 – year 9. The class is designed to engage with the children at their level in a fun and interesting way whilst increasing their flexibility and confidence. Core Strength Mat based Pilates focused on developing core strength and flexibility with Pilates exercises. Each class involves a warm up, mat based exercises focused on strengthening & supporting the core with stretching to finish.
