About So Fitness. Who Are We? So Fitness is a fitness & wellness brand that strives to empower people to take ownership of their own health and fitness. We know that life is busy and chaotic. We know that self-care is always the first thing that gets thrown out of the equation. We, as humans, are quick to sacrifice our own health and wellbeing in exchange for other stuff, for example, working longer hours, taking care of a member of the family, or to have a social life. Founded in November 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, we found that the greatest lesson to be learnt is that your health is truly the most important thing. We only get one body, one life. Hence, we aim to create a community of like-minded people who prioritise self-care as we believe taking care of yourself is the best way to begin to take care of others. Why are We Different? There are many fitness studios and gyms out there, what makes So Fitness different? So Fitness is co-created by Nicole Kwan who is the lead physiotherapist and owner of So Physio. Her expertise and experiences allow us to create programmes and give advice that is medically sound and evident based as we ensure our clients stay injury-free and strong. The ‘Functional’ portion involves teaching and incorporating Pilates exercises that trains and sculpt part of the bodies that involve in actions in our daily lives. We believe that any exercises we do should help facilitate the things we do daily. Hence, Functional Pilates. The ‘Lifestyle’ dictates our belief that everyone should be doing Pilates.
