INSPIRE YOUR LIFE WITH MEDITATION– The many benefits of Meditation Despite the myth around meditation, you don’t have to have a quiet mind to practice it. The practice of meditation will help you to calm and quieten the mind, by bringing your attention inward, slowing things down and leaving you with a sense of clarity, enjoyment for life and also with your awareness to the present moment. You will also experience life from an ‘Observer” point of view. You will gain more perspective of life. The nature of the mind is to think. So, asking the mind to stop isn’t going to work. But you can train your mind to focus on what you want and what is relevant for your health and well-being. Meditation has its roots in Eastern traditions of Yoga and Buddhism. Over time, the practice was brought to the West. Marcia My life through the eyes and heart of energy I teach/educate on yoga full time, run workshops and retreats locally and internationally.
