We’ve been part of the Wimbledon community since 2011. We started out as a Bikram yoga strictly teaching only the Bikram sequence of 26 postures & 2 breathing exercises. Then we expanded our range to include some Vinyasa Flow classes and turned the heat down a bit. Now we have a whole spectrum of hot yoga classes, all open to any level and covering everything from sweaty, dynamic Vinyasa to cool, slow Yin.
Our instructors are careful chosen and from all walks of life. Many of them have had former incarnations… such as restauranteurs, IT specialists and nannies; all bound by the common thread of the pure love of yoga which made them want to share it with as many people as possible.
We thrive on our richly diverse community of members, which are all ages, genders, sizes, levels of ability and backgrounds. Yoga has transformed the lives of so many of them… every day we see people arrive for a class feeling one way and leave feeling completely different. We put health and wellness at the top of what we do. Our classes change your body and calm your monkey mind. Then afterwards you can nourish yourself with a nutrient rich juice, made fresh in our juice bar, a cool space where our yogis hang out and connect with each other.
If you need some extra TLC, a treatment, such as acupuncture or craniosacral therapy can be arranged in one of our therapy rooms. Our range of class options mean you can practice what you need, when you need. Please see the timetable for more details.
Warm Vinyasa Flow
These energising yoga classes are for those working at beginner or intermediate level with variations of postures being given to accommodate mixed abilities. The classes are taught in moderated heat, which is ideal for safely encouraging flexibility and allowing a gentle detoxification process. These are accessible dynamic, flowing classes rooted in the practices of Vinyasa Flow yoga. By moving from posture to posture with a linking Vinyasa, the body is realigned in preparation for the next posture and the body’s internal heat is increased. Strength, flexibility, grounding and stamina are enhanced. The focus is on establishing the key foundations of yoga. Synchronising breath to movement, building internal core strength and general strength and flexibility.
Yin Yoga
Yin classes are about deep passive stretches which target the connective tissue and ligaments of the hips, pelvis and lower back. The postures are mainly seated or lying down and are held for 3-5 minutes. A Yin practice improves flexibility and mobility in the joints. It facilitates the release of tension and blockages. It reduces stress and encourages mindfulness. What’s not to like!? Oh… and the heat is off.

Performed to music this class is designed to develop a sense of enjoyment and freedom and to allow one’s breath and energy to fuel the practise.
