Located at the foot of glacier-topped Andean peaks in the heart of the Sacred Valley, Willka T’ika offers an experience of luxury and wellness in one of the earth’s most energetically charged, culturally rich settings.
Willka T’ika’s sustainable, relaxing guest rooms reflect the textures and colors of Pachamama (“Mother Earth” in the indigenous Quechua language). Spacious yoga studios, cozy meditation cottages, and outdoor and indoor ceremonial areas afford spaces for personal and group activities.
Willka T’ika’s magnificent healing gardens provide the opportunity to relax, restore, rejuvenate, and receive the powerful energy of the Andes. The world-renowned Seven Chakra Gardens cover the grounds with lush vibrant foliage and are connected to each other by enchanting winding stone paths. Each garden is designed to correspond to one of the seven chakras, or energy centers, of the human body, and is graced with sacred sculptures and stonework appropriate to the chakra represented.
Our guest rooms and group spaces are constructed of all-natural local materials, including stone and mud bricks from the Willka T’ika land.
Willka T’ika’s sustainable guest rooms are made from natural earth materials and adorned with local artwork.
All rooms are named for the Andean medicinal plant that grows at each room’s doorstep. A variety of room configurations can accommodate up to sixty-five guests.
The spacious luxury rooms, designed using feng shui principles, include a seating area and offer mountain and garden views. The cozier garden rooms are tucked away in charming spots throughout the gardens.
Each room has its own private modern bathroom and entry to the gardens. Our welcoming Quechua staff place fresh flowers in each room, and provide hot water bottles for your bed at night. To maintain a tranquil retreat atmosphere, our guest rooms have no television sets or telephones.
Nourish your body and spirit with the cuisine at Willka T’ika, an exotic yet comforting fusion of Andean flavors.
Gourmet organic vegetarian meals are served daily, using high-protein Andean grains and legumes, as well as organic, freshly harvested vegetables and salads grown on-site. We welcome vegan, gluten-free, and special dietary requests.
Willka T’ika has the only 100% hormone-free and chemical-free gourmet vegetarian hotel kitchen in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Our gardens are strictly organic.
Start the day with a cup of freshly harvested herbal tea or fresh roasted Quillabamba coffee, grown on our staff’s family farms. The buffet breakfast includes breads from a local oven, omelets, homemade muesli using kiwicha and other Andean grains, and sliced fruits and avocados from the subtropical Machu Picchu area.
Dinner includes a hearty soup, freshly harvested salad, and gourmet vegetarian entrees with steamed vegetables. Most meals include quinoa and kiwicha, the grain that gave Incan warriors strength, or tarwi, an Andean legume containing more protein than red meat.
Breakfast and dinner are served at set hours in the dining room each day. Picnics or lunches in the gardens may be ordered at breakfast or the day before.
Even if you are not usually vegetarian, you will find the cuisine at Willka T’ika wholesome, original, and delicious.
