Yoga is for everyone and on our courses you should feel welcome both in "yoga dress" and in "soft ice cream"! It is you who determines your level based on your conditions and your experience right now, as teachers we must be able to adapt and support each individual based on this! We who lead the courses are certified Yoga-mindfulness teachers with many years of experience, trained by Bikash Acharya, Growth Health & Care AB, read more here. It is now well documented that yoga has a very good effect on our physical health. We gain increased body awareness, the body becomes stronger and more flexible, we gain better and more conscious breathing. By focusing both in movements, breathing and meditation, the level of stress hormones decreases and we get more energy for what we need to do, to name a few of the positive effects. But at least as important, although not as measurable, are the effects we can eventually experience in our everyday life, our relationships, our work. Through an increased ability to take care of our own health, manage stress and be present in the present without worrying about the future or what has already passed, we can see more clearly how we want to use our energy to develop and move forward in a life where we and our surroundings thrive and feel good. With the help of Yoga, we take care of our own body, our own thoughts, our own stress. But we also exist in a larger body – our common society. When there is a lot of stress, burnout and worry, we are all affected. With the same thinking, the same philosophy and methods, we can change and organize to reduce stress, take care of shortcomings and create space for joint growth. It's also Yoga - we basically belong to the same family and the whole family needs to feel good!! During the courses, you will learn soft, calm yoga movements and postures that you can then practice on your own. Great importance is placed on presence in the exercises and in the body. We also teach basic breathing exercises and meditation. The courses are suitable for both young and old, beginners and those who have practiced yoga before, as the exercises are individually adapted. Limited mobility is also no obstacle to participation in Yoga mindfulness. Feel free to get in touch with questions.
