All these branches of physical and mental training have one thing in common - recovery. To recover is to lower stress levels and calibrate the systems in the body to be able to become aware of both one's own body and mind, and with that awareness thus become stronger mentally, and free to become and be your own guru. We release tension and de-stress the muscles, de-stress the sympathetic nervous system and calibrate it with the parasympathetic nervous system with Yin Yoga, strengthen legs, back, stomach, arms and shoulders with Yin & Toning, strengthen mental and physical self-confidence with Yin Warrior, calms the mind with Meditation, Soundbath and Chanting. The goal is homeostasis - a stable and constant state in relation to the environment, a mental and physical good foundation to stand on. None of these branches are in themselves healing for anything specific, but all in all, it is measurable that stress increases the risk of disease. Stress is in itself something good and natural that exists in us biologically, but we have the ability to create long-term stress in body and mind with the way we live today. Stress in its positive sense should basically leave the body immediately after the "danger" (problem, deadline, quarrel) is over, but with our emotions, constantly active thoughts and the way we live, we have the ability to keep stress inside us for a longer time . Even negative thought patterns create stress, and we want to break them by becoming aware in meditation.
