Yoga mindfulness belongs to Raja yoga and follows Patanjali's original principles. The physical exercises are taken from Hatha yoga. The roots of Yoga and mindfulness are found in the ancient Indian scriptures of the Vedas. There is a moving process going on in everyone's life and in everything, and it expresses itself as longing in us. This process is completed with yoga. Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning union. Mindfulness is a mental state of total presence that can be achieved with the help of various methods in yoga. In mindfulness, you are in the present moment and see things as they are, without judging or evaluating what you experience. You get closer to yourself, which in practice means that it becomes easier for you to influence your own way of life, your well-being and thus your quality of life.
