About The Dive Academy The Dive Academy is an English owned PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre based on the paradise island of Koh Samui. Our founder and still joint owner, Paul, opened The Dive Academy in 2005 and we quickly became recognised for our exceptionally high standards of customer service and diver training which we still uphold today. We are the only PADI dive centre on Koh Samui that is still owned and managed by the original owner. Although our staff may have changed over the years, Paul and co-owner Claire have made sure that the level of quality of our dive Instructors is as good now as ever – our dive crew are arguably the best and most experienced on the island and give the best customer service and quality of training around. And with over 25 years combined experience of Instructing dive courses between the two owners alone we also know how to make the most of your precious time under water. We offer a full range of PADI Dive Courses from beginner all the way to Professional. We also offer Dive tours to the top sites in the Gulf of Thailand. For non-divers we offer VIP Snorkeling tours to the best spots on and around Koh Samui so everybody has the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic marine life in the area. The majority of The Dive Academy’s training is for people looking to begin diving or looking to try diving for the first time. We work at the pace which suits the students and allows them to enjoy their first experience of the underwater world with as little stress and effort as possible. We offer PADI Continuing Education Courses for those that have already become certified divers and we offer probably the most extensive range of PADI Specialty Diver Courses of any dive centre on Koh Samui.
