Learnt to dive with the Dive Academy and did my advanced open water also. Great standard of teaching. Good fun! Only pool on the island specifically for dive training which was great. Had some fantastic dives. It was like swimming in giant aquarium packed with amazing coral and fish! They were also very helpful with getting to know the local area, places to go and stay...

I started with the open water dive course with my 10 year old son, we loved it and moved on to the advanced as well. we ended up doing nearly 20 dives in total and the whole team were amazing. Very efficient, great teachers and dive guides, Samira and Ben were incredible and I cannot recommend the Dive Academy highly enough. Safety focused, reliable, punctual, friendly and highly competent. We had great fun and are heading back to do some more dives.

We had a wonderful day in Ang Thong. The transfer and pick-up worked smoothly, our guide was super nice, so you felt totally comfortable at all times. The boat trip (on a very well maintained Super Speed Boat) was great (do not forget to put on sun screen lotion!), we were supplied with drinks. First stop was the lagoon, which took a bit of hike to get to. Our guide told us things about Ang Thong and the fish and wildlife. We saw small stingrays. The second stop was kayaking. Through Covid we were really the only ones in the whole national park, which was of course very special. After kayaking, a perfect Thai lunch was prepared for us. Super tasty. After that we could relax a bit until we went to the last stop, snorkeling. This was great! Our guide was always near us and spotted fish for us. Also here we could see Stingrays and a puffer fish! After the day we were taken back to our hotel. I would recommend it to everyone to do the trip with Dive Academy! It was really great and we had an awesome day! Thanks again!! :)

My fiance and I loved this course we took with Matt! The Dive Academy team was very responsive on email and very accommodating for our requests before we even got to Samui. The e-learning part you have to do before you start the on-site training requires a lot of hours but it helped us understand the various aspects of scuba diving. On site and in the sea, we learned at a comfortable pace and had a lot of fun. Instructor Matt was very professional and kind. Even the boat crew was very helpful as well! Thank you so much Dive Academy team!

Absolutely brilliant - first class service by Instructors Lin and Matt! Very safe and professional. On my kids first time diving they swam with Whale Shark at Koh Tao- which they loved and am sure will never forget. Highly recommend Dive Academy Koh Samui!

Amazing experience for my husband and my son who got their Open Water certification with The Dive Academy in October 2020. The staff was amazing! - Son - 11 The dive instructor we had taught with an enthusiastic attitude, and clearly really enjoyed the work he does. The gear they supply you with comes in a variety of colors, sizes, and models. Taking the course may take a few days, but it is totally worth it. You practice drills and learn more about the equipment, and after you have been certified, then the fun really begins. You get to decide with the crew, depending on how long you are staying there, how many fun dives you will do. You will only go on fun dives if other people are going as well (average of 4-5 total). Even the ride out is fun because you get to discuss what everyone has enjoyed while diving and learn more about the popular dive sites. During the fun dives, you will practice a few important drills before you go down. Overall, the experience was incredible, and I recommend you try this out! :)

I received my PADI Open Water certification in November 2020 from The Dive Academy. The owner, Claire, assisted me remotely getting prepared with scheduling and the e-learning. Matt was a great instructor and was able to get me scheduled for the dives during low season with the challenges of COVID. Safety was a priority and I appreciate the efforts made by all.

My gf and I went on a trip to Samui for a family getaway. My gf was taking AOW + Nitrox, while I only took Nitrox + fun dives. The Dive Academy was very flexible in having we dived together in every single dives. Matt was our instructor, and I can clearly notice a significant improvement on my gf's bouyancy control. We had a great time overall, esp. at Sail rock where the visibility couldn't have been better.

The Dive Academy is truly amazing! Their trips are excellent, the captain and boat boy are both amazing, and the instructors are friendly, professional professional and thorough. My family and I went to the Twins and the Japanese Garden dive sights in Koh Tao on our first day diving , and it was incomparable to places such as Pattaya and the Similan islands. The coral was stunning and the fish were abundant; visibility was excellent. The dive instructors were great at spotting sea life. They were kind to everyone on board. I’m glad we chose this company.

An amazing snorkelling trip with the Dive Academy for our family. It was the first proper snorkelling for our kids 8 and 10yr olds and for my wife and we were all looked after so well by Samira who made sure everyone was ok throughout. Professional service, great boat and crew, wish we could have done another day trip with them. Oh, and the beaches and reefs in Koh Tao are mind-blowing. Cant recommend this trip enough.
