GENTLE FLOW The slower pace of our Gentle yoga class allows time to modify each posture to best suit your body. This extremely accessible class is an ideal choice for anyone looking to develop a practice of conscious, mindful movement with some support. VINYASA FLOW A fluid dynamic flow; encouraging exploration, through movement, of ones individual body. Listen to the music, Feel the breath, and connect entirely, with no reservations. A practice flowing through Surya Namaskar, Standing asanas, and Seated asanas. *Suitable for ALL levels, encouraged to challenge oneself* POWER VINYASA FLOW A heated dynamic flow incorporating an engaging core-breath, while connecting to each Asana, to warm & detoxify the entire body. A practice focused on building core strength & encouraging alignment within each posture; concluding in a guided Savanasa, to release & receive the benefits of the practice. *Suitable for ALL levels, encouraged to challenge oneself* HATHA FLOW The class begins with the practice of Pranayama or Breathing technique, to center oneself and be present with ones mind and body. Then, flowing through a repetitive sequence, consisting of Surya Namaskar, along with standing and seated postures. This enhances a meditative focus to the connection of movement within the body, and to ones own breath; ultimately, creating a unified state of Presence. *Suitable for ALL levels* YIN YOGA Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more stretching. THERAPEUTIC YOGA This class is a carefully designed combination of gentle yoga, awareness exercises, restorative yoga poses, and breath work. These elements are integrated into a sequence that is suitable for people who are beginning to study yoga, recovering from an injury, or anyone who feels they are just too tight to stretch. PRENATAL YOGA A gentle class designed to ease the aches and pains of mommies-to-be in a nurturing and supportive environment. Class will focus on special breathing techniques and opening the hips, preparing the body for labor and post-partum recovery, as well as maintaining flexibility and muscle strength. POSTNATAL YOGA This class will help you recover from birth more harmoniously, release the pains you might be experiencing, and get back in touch with your vital energy, your core strength and inner balance. EXPRESS SUN SALUTATIONS Take a 30-minute yoga break throughout your day at a heart-warming and heart-opening class inspired by sun salutations. MAT PILATES Our pilates mat class focuses on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. The instructor presents the exercises at multiple levels which allows students to choose to work at a beginning, intermediate, or advanced pace. Students learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. No previous Pilates experience is necessary to join a mat class. GROUP REFORMER (BEGINNER) Perfect for a beginner on the reformer and an excellent technique tune-up for those getting back into practice. Students will be coached on technique, alignment, and core control while building the strength, stamina and repertoire required to participate in more advanced classes. GROUP REFORMER (INTERMEDIATE) Intermediate classes are designed for students who have a working knowledge of the Pilates fundamentals and who want to step up their workout. This is an excellent class for those who have taken many private lessons and are ready for a challenging group class. The class is also good for those who have taken many beginner classes and are ready for a new challenge.
