Indiana Buddhist Temple
Indiana Buddhist Temple is a meditation learning center located in Fort Wayne vicinity,na, USA. In June 28, 2003, the Temple was founded by Venerable Thalangama Devananda (Bhante Devananda). Bhante always emphasizes that the temple is open to people of all religious beliefs, cultures and backgrounds.
The temple is a public meditation center and a spiritual place to find your peace, contentment, loving kindness and compassion.
Throughout the years, we have been blessed with opportunities to serve the community, to conduct regular weekly meditations and monthly retreats. The temple is a not-for-profit organization. You may kindly call the temple at 260-447-5269 for any inquiries.ServicesThena Buddhist Temple welcomes everyone to practice guided Loving Kindness meditation every Monday at 6:30 pm and Mindfulness of Breathing every Thursday at 06:30 pm. Our Sutta Discussion is every Saturday at 2:00 pm followed by Meditation. All meditation classes, workshops and retreats are conducted in English.
We also welcome invitations to retreats, religious ceremonies and blessings; birthday blessings, house blessings, hospital visitations, last rites, memorial services, family retreats, youth retreats, one-on-one meditation sessions (by appointment at 260-447-5269).We also have cultural events such as; Sri Lankan New Year, Annual Vesak Day, and Kathina Robe Ceremony.
