In its simplest form Meditative Mind consists of two guys who like to meditate and like to see other people meditating as well. Gavin and Adam come from different meditation backgrounds but both agree that the technique does not matter nearly as much as just doing the practice does. Meditative Mind was built based on that principle. Everyone is their own unique individual and has their own unique preferences so there is no way that you can take a one size fits all approach to meditation. They believe that the general practice kicks so much ass that they just want to help as many people as possible find out about it.
Gavin and Adam started doing this locally by opening a meditation studio and over the years have given presentations and meditation sessions all over Boise. One thing that they learned from teaching meditation is that in order to get people to meditate, it must be convenient. The biggest obstacle to building a solid meditation practice is convenience. People just do not treat meditation the same way that they treat health and exercise. Someone might be willing to go to the gym everyday to work out but he or she might not be as willing to go to a meditation studio everyday. So, instead of trying to get people to come to them, Meditative Mind has shifted their focus to making meditation easy and accessible to people so that they can do it wherever and whenever they want.
