In Zen Buddhism, sitting meditation or zazen is a practice of paying attention to breath, body and mind in a seated posture or slow walking (kinhin). Practiced Meditation brings an awareness and eventually a gentle and compassionate attitude toward your mind and body. Soto Zen allows novice mediators a simple way to begin. The above picture was take after meditation near The Zen Room on some spring evening. Below is our marvelous zen teacher, Danny Parker (left) and his teacher, Ed Brown .
