"Whatâ€™s the best class for me? Sharing Yoga specializes in helping people who are new to Yoga feel comfortable in a Yoga class. We know it can be intimidating trying something brand new with a group of strangers. At Sharing Yoga we go out of our way and do our best to make you feel safe and comfortable as you begin your Yoga journey. You wonâ€™t find any â€œweirdnessâ€ here or a list of strict rules and policies. At Sharing Yoga youâ€™ll find a dedicated group of over 15 compassionate instructors who are ready to welcome you and make you feel at home. We offer you more than 30 different classes every week so we have something for everybody. If youâ€™re just starting out â€“ then maybe one of our Yoga 101 six-week sessions would be the best fit. If youâ€™re currently active and do not have any injuries then one of our All Levels Classes may be good for you. If you are injured or recuperating from a recent surgery then maybe Private 1 on 1 Sessions would be best. Still having a hard time deciding? When you arrive at Sharing Yoga youâ€™ll find a laid back atmosphere. Sit down, take off your shoes, and find one of our instructors. Youâ€™ll be given a brief tour of our studios, reception and retail area, and where the restrooms and changing rooms are. You may be asked to fill out our registration waiver & guidelines form. Need to borrow a mat on your first visit? We have a loaner mat for you to use. Our instructors can answer any other questions you may have at that time. I want to try Yoga but I donâ€™t know what to expect. When you arrive at Sharing Yoga youâ€™ll be greeted by one of our professional & compassionate Yoga instructors. Youâ€™ll remove your shoes and jacket and your instructor will show you around â€“ rest rooms, changing rooms, where the water is â€“ and theyâ€™ll answer any questions you may have. Theyâ€™ll get you settled into the studio with your Yoga mat, block & strap. Donâ€™t have a mat, block & strap? â€“ no worries weâ€™ve got you covered. Arrive 10 minutes early and wear loose comfortable clothing. Iâ€™m not sure Iâ€™ll be comfortable in a Yoga class. The studio is a calm & relaxing space where youâ€™ll feel at home. Know that youâ€™re in the right place. Youâ€™ll be surrounded by people just like you â€“ beginners who want to start at the beginning and learn to do Yoga the right way â€“ safely. We specialize in beginners who are new to Yoga and weâ€™ve been doing it longer than anyone in the area. I donâ€™t want to feel intimidated in a Yoga class. The intention for our Yoga 101 classes is that we create a safe space for beginners. We have a down to earth approach with no attitudes or expectations. You donâ€™t need fancy Yoga clothes or a $100 Yoga mat, all you need is a desire to learn something new, something beneficial. Iâ€™m out of shape and Iâ€™m not flexible. Thatâ€™s perfect. Thatâ€™s one of the main reasons people sign up for Yoga. It can help you get in shape and it can certainly help you gain flexibility. In our Yoga 101 classes youâ€™ll be in good company. Folks just like you who are looking to get into shape, gain some flexibility, reduce stress and just plain feel better and happier. I wonâ€™t know how to do all the moves. Your instructor will demonstrate and show you basic Yoga poses to help you get more flexible, deep breathing techniques to help you relax and unwind, and you also learn how to quiet your mind. Each week you review the stuff from the previous week and learn new poses too.
