As a lifelong athlete I have put my body through the ringer. Having tried almost every exercise out there, it was decades of chronic back pain that led me to try Pilates. I was amazed at how easy it looked, yet how much my muscles responded. I have come to love it, not only for the aesthetic improvements I have seen it make in my body, but for the way it absolutely helps me find that perfect balance of mind, body and spirit.
While working in the high stress medical device industry, Pilates became my meditation. In the 50 minute classes I would squeeze in, twice a week, I found my breath, loosened my cramped back and shoulder muscles and reminded my body how to fight for better posture.
My decision to commit to teaching Pilates full-time, came from a passion I have to help others feel better, feel younger, stronger and healthier. Pilates is as necessary for me as food or sleep and I believe others can benefit from the decade of Pilates experience I have.
