All classes and programs focus on functional movement training that emphasize posture, alignment and breath – we set the standard for quality instruction in Macon. Pilates and our other methods of movement teach: body awareness so we can recognize healthy posture while standing still and while moving; balanced strength from the core outward; flexibility for easy movement; full, cleansing and natural breathing; and, especially, softening and releasing of physical tension and holding patterns that may be causing discomfort. You will have increased energy and stability, making it less likely for you to sustain an injury. Starting from the feet up, a well-structured and consistent practice can result in a balanced, flexible, and aligned body as intended by nature so you can live your life with good posture and, thus, physical comfort.
