I've been privileged to participate in the I AM Yoga Nidra certification and Kids programs as well as Meditation in Motion Immersion. John Vosler, Hasu Marney Coulter, Heather Indu Eilering, Ramdas Ormond, and Renu Diane Zagoria are wonderful people and teachers who have your best interests at heart. I felt supported and loved all along the way. Gurudev Shri Amritji and Yogeshwari Kamini Desai Ph.D. are brilliant leaders in the modern yoga world. This is THE PLACE to immerse yourself in yoga. So much more than the usual yoga. Amrit Yoga Institute is a place that lovingly holds and teaches people who come here. From the moment I stepped into this spiritual oasis, I felt home. I’ve been now three times, first in 2014 thanks to Frank Lewis/Amber Drill, then for immersion and more to earn my Integrative Amrit Method teacher certification. Gurudev Amrit Desai is a conduit for awakening to higher self. The other teachers here help facilitate Gurudev’s works for transformation, and the other travelers become friends in the common bond of seeking to become one’s true divine nature, promote one’s ultimate healing through optimum flow of prana, and thus adjust any misalignment of body/mind/spirit, break reactive patterns to stimuli and thereby witnessing and becoming the spirit of your true Self. So many programs and a welcome week end, too. Trips to India. Also a healing arts center. I highly recommend this transformative sanctuary, the teachers and programs here. Not to mention....the clean, peaceful accommodations, dock and lake, the nearby hot springs, and the vegetarian cuisine. Amazing!

One of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. True love and pure consciousness grows here. I stayed here for the Yoga Nidra training and I Am Yoga teacher training level 1. Both courses were life changing and helped me to sink into deeper love. I plan to take a course every year. Studying with a living yogic Master is very powerful and transmission is pure love. Life changing teachings that I have embodied.

This place felt like Home ? The grounds are very well kept and the view of the water makes it even more tranquil and serene. The service was wonderful - everyone was friendly and our room was kept clean thanks to the staff. If my group ever had questions, the staff was always professional, attentive, and sweet. This is the definition of a yoga institute and I cannot wait to return for my training. AWESOMENESS. A few weeks ago, my heart felt a deep shift coming. At same time a hunger for forest and lake: saw an event announced on my Fb page, not sure how it appeared. Drawn to go. Felt pulled as magnetically from that moment. Especially as I got closer, driving through the Black Bear Reserve. Had seen option to volunteer and knew it was for me: wonderful stay all around, the grounds, the practice, the kinship. Bhakti. The Chef is an alchemist, one eats as if eating paradise. The teachers teach from deep within the heart. A palpable kinship felt in the people drawn to be there. Made deep connections. That was last week. Am still processing the effect(s) on my mind/body/spirit. Learned and absorbed so much. Understood so much. Words and spaces between words made deep sense. The experience stays with you. Attending the presentation by Gurudev makes your heart beat in recognition of truth. As I got ready to leave, one of the wonderful staff laughingly yet knowingly told me: yes, you were summoned. Attended 4 day intensive directed by Pallavi "Awakening the Spiritual Heart", over the top & just what my heart needed! I attended a weekend retreat Jan.24-26, 2020. Words won't do my experience justice. I knew next to nothing about Amrit before I went. I definitely have a yoga beginner mindset because I am a beginner. I am neither a vegetarian nor a vegan. With that as background info, I would recommend that, no matter what you think you know or don't know about yoga, what you believe or don't believe, what you eat or don't eat, you take a weekend of your life and come to Amrit. The experience is welcoming, the teaching is joyful, the wellness messages/treatments are unreal, and the food is delightful. You will be surprised at what you learn about true yoga and about yourself.

I love Amrit Yoga Institute! A perfect opportunity and atmosphere for personal reflection, spiritual growth and community. The programs that I have attended are life enhancing. I highly recommend that anyone who is considering one of their programs take the opportunity to do so.

Amrit is an amazing place for meditation and Yoga as well as quiet time...,I love learning about Yoga Nidra. I went several years ago and went back this year! Love meeting great people and the great food...It brings me a sense of peace and relaxation! highly recommended even for the beginning Yogi!

Felt very much at peace there, will go back for some classes and volunteering. The lake is serene and the swings reminded me of my childhood. Everyone I meet was very kind and caring. Met Gurudev and had a brief conversation with him. I wish him a very happy & healthy birthday today.

Enjoyed a lovely welcome weekend with Abhay, Kalindi, Neko and the lovely team at the ashram. The grounds are beautiful, the food delicious and the vibes are so peaceful and loving. Darshan with Gurudev made the experience even more magical. I highly recommended a visit to this amazing place.

Fear, Anger, Blame transforms to Acceptance, Understanding and ultimately Forgiveness, Forgiveness is the Key to Enlightenment!
