Our mission at Plum is to create and hold a space for those seeking wellness in body, mind and spirit. Through yoga, we find unification–with one another and with all that is. The yoga that we offer at Plum is diverse, precisely because, despite the unified nature of all things, each yogi is unique. Our varied yoga teachers, body therapists, energy healers and other practitioners are each gifted in individual ways and it is through those gifts that we hope to make our community–in whole and in each delicious part–just a bit sweeter.

We’ll meditate, get to taste delicious organic, local, plant-based food, and sip a nicely paired fine wine. This wonderful sensory experience will be followed by discussion and Q&A. Recipes and wine notes will be given out. You’ll be led by Certified Holistic Health Coach, Leslie Neri. Come hang out with us. Eat, drink and be well. Stay tuned for details on the next event. Annmarie is the creator of Plum Yoga and the adjacent Center for Mediation & Balanced Living. As an avid yogi for over twenty years and a practicing attorney for the past eighteen, Annmarie believes that she has finally found a way to form a union between the two. Annmarie was the fortunate recipient of a travel-research grant years ago that provided her with the resources to travel the around the world in search of ways to teach children “Peace†or mindful and meaningful conflict resolution. That belief in mindful conflict resolution—whether it is internal or external–is what drove Annmarie to create a center that provides support for people in various ways–through yoga, meditation, mediation, counseling and community. Plum is an offspring of this vision.
Annmarie’s yoga teacher training under Beth Filla at Yogawood in 2012 gave her a depth of knowledge in yoga philosophy and practice that invigorated her belief in yoga as a way of being, not just an activity that one does a few times each week. The gratitude that she has for her teachers and fellow yogis is immense.
Annmarie’s other passions include disco dancing, friendship and her two children, Evie (through whom the name PLUM was born) and Nathaniel.
