When I know I need to get away and be, I go to MMC. Upon arrival I am met by warm greetings, collaborating with ahhhs and appreciations of the beauty we are surrounded. Balance is restored by the incomparable and variable offerings of nature; the redwoods, the pond, the vistas below and the simple warm architecture. Low density lighting allows me to wonder at the stars.

This place is amazing. From the redwoods to the Hanuman Temple to the weekly kirtans, there is something special here. With all of its amenities, the most important part of this place is the people who live there, take care of the land, and pass on the teachings of Baba Hari Dass. If you're looking to immerse yourself in yoga, I highly recommend booking a trip to Mount Madonna Center.

Authentic teachings, humble hearts and joyous beings keep this place alive and going. So thankful to Babaji for his guidance and inspiration with the senior staff on the mountain but also to the teachers themselves. In a USA quite full of diluted Yoga teachings and practices, this is for sure a place to go when you are looking for the real thing. Namaste!

I just had an amazing, nurturing three-day personal retreat at Mt. Madonna Center. What a gift! Pranayama & asana practice each morning; three nourishing delicious meals each day; time to wander, read, write, pray; a healing ayurvedic oil massage with Maya; soaking in the hot tub; shopping in the herb store and gift shop; meditating on the majestic vista of Monterey Bay, far below. Heaven on earth! Thank you.

This is a calm and cool environment with sheer serenity. The temple at The Mount symbolises peace and tranquillity. Alpine breeze, Grape orchids and awesome embrace of clouds with self make us lost in the divine nature. We had a memorable Week end check in at the temple. The temple staff, all western locals are very courteous who make our visit more comfortable with the best assistance.

Just had a massage here yesterday and I absolutely loved this place. The grounds are beautiful, the food is great, and the people are wonderful. Great views, awesome statues and buildings, and it just has a very positive presence. Highly recommended!

I have done three personal retreats at the Mount Madonna Center during this past year. The focus of my retreats was practicing yoga and writing poetry. I stayed in the spare but comfortable cabins in the Redwood forest. Singing and chanting at the Hanuman Temple with this kind and welcoming community was a big highlight.

Very nice camping area. Unbelievable view and very friendly park ranger. Might have problem finding a good parking spot if you are more than 2 car. Bathrooms were clean and stuffed. I recommend it to friends and families who want to have a relaxing time in nature.
