What we offer Maine’s first Green~Certified earth~friendly retreat center, Nurture Through Nature rests on 33 mountainside forested acres in the heart of western’s Lakes and Mountains region. We are a solar-powered, off the grid lodging and retreat facility with private hiking trails along our spring~fed mountain brook leading to long views of Mount Washington and the White Mountains. Design your own enriching retreat by adding specialized holistic life coaching services, private and community yoga classes, guided meditation, a private sauna, massage therapy, and healing arts classes to enrich your stay. Our eco retreat is also available for yoga teachers & healing arts practitioners to lead their own workshop or retreat. Nurture Through Nature Retreat Center offers classes and workshops through its Healing Arts IMG_0013Cooperative; sharing expansive and diverse offerings in beautiful Western and the Mount Washington Valley area, through cooperation, community~building, and mutual support, with healing at its root and core. We invite passionate practitioners to share their expertise with our growing community. We also invite our guests to experience our enriching services in our earth~friendly, solar powered yoga studio space, whether you live in the area or are on retreat with us. It is important to us that all people have access to the healing arts, regardless of income, therefore, most of our classes and workshop are by donation. Our intention is to hold a space for conscious, simple, green living; offering holistic retreats, expansive workshops, sacred spaces, meditation, yoga, the healing arts, holistic life coaching and eco-getaways. Growing a Sustainable Economy The goal of community sustainability is to establish local economies that are economically viable, environmentally sound and socially responsible. We have a strong commitment and practice in supporting these principles by purchasing from local businesses, including independently owned shops, farms and service contractors. We do our very best to pay our support team above average wages for their good work in maintaining our facilities and serving our guests. The rates that we charge our guests begin an energetic and financial circle that allows us to provide green power, organic ingredients on our retreats, local products and living wages to our team of amazing people.
