David SamadhiDev Browning and Lalla Dawn Breeze are the Co-Founders of the Samadhi Retreat & Meditation Center near Athens Texas. David had a spontaneous spiritual awakening in 1997 with no prior interest in enlightenment, and spent the next 16 years becoming fully established in the enlightened mind. From 2010 to 2012 David visited and spent the majority of his time in silence at many of the monasteries, ashrams, and temples, sitting in on meditations, empowerments and teachings. Near the end of his visit, he received the critical Buddhist teaching of “Conventional vs. Ultimate Awareness” from a quiet monk on a midnight stroll. This became the crucial key needed to convey the ultimate truths that he had experienced into conventional language. David has dedicated his life, to seeing if it is possible to help others to silence their minds and enter into the awakened state of consciousness that he now abides in at all times.
