Our hallmark is classical, hatha yoga, the bedrock of practice from which all yoga styles are sprung. Synergy implies a whole greater than the sum of the parts it contains. So it is with our community of practice. Our instructors and professional staff come together to form a supportive, unified, growth-oriented synergy of purpose. And we are eager to share that synergy with you at an individual level. No matter where you are on your path of practice - just beginning, experimenting and expanding, or intentionally, meditatively deepening - we warmly and happily welcome you. We are an official affiliate of the Himalayan Institute, home of Yoga International, and as such, uphold the highest standards of yoga study and instruction in a warm, caring, non-competitive environment. We believe yoga is for everyone, not just the physically fit and flexible. We seek to share time-honored instruction and practices that connect the mind, body and spirit, and we are equipped to respond to your needs, wherever you are in your yoga practice. Our classes are designed to promote your practice from introductory instruction through advanced and deeply meditative engagement. We are also nationally accredited through Yoga Alliance as a center for certification in hatha yoga instruction, committed to excellence in teaching in the Himalayan tradition.
