Dechen Ling also offers support for the Buddhist community by assisting with private retreats, pujas (rituals), healings, and special ceremonies during Buddhist holidays.
Dechen Lingâ€™s publishing arm is Dechen Ling Press. All prayer and practice texts there are available for immediate purchase and electronic download.

Dechen Ling oversees the Ganden Kachoe Project, a charitable project working to re-establish a devastated Tibetan monastery in exile. Since 1999, Dechen Ling has also served as the Seattle organizers for the performing monks of the Gaden Shartse Monastery during their annual American tours.

I flew out from LA to do a 5 day meditation retreat. I can’t say enough good things about the center. The temple itself is incredible - very highly charged positive energy. Just sitting in the temple is incredibly healing. But the teachers and staff are what truly makes the center an amazing place. Despite living across the country, regular visits to the world peace temple will now be part of my practice. I really feel like I found my spiritual home!!! Deep gratitude for the teachers and staff who made this such an incredible experience!!!

This is a special place to me. My teachers originate from here and the grounds are spectacular and peaceful. For THREE years, however, I have tried to reserve a room along with a retreat coach; on each occasion I am rebuffed by the reservation coordinator, who refuses to assist me in my quest: email communications are dropped and no further assistance is offered. I am told only this person can book retreats, and so I am at her mercy. Very disappointed, yet accepting that I may never return for the instruction I seek.

Went to my first class on 8/16/18 in Scranton at AFA Galleria and it was hot, stuffy and the instructor/teacher was all over the place. We were planning on going to the two other ones - but I literally felt more stressed than relaxed and at ease. Not sure if it was her first time - but she kept closing her eyes as if she forgot what she was going to say. I really wanted to like this but was so disappointed with this class and will probably not go back. Hopefully I can find one that is really good.

Everything! The temple is a sight to behold! Teachings are clear, profound and moving! Meals are healthy, delish vegetarian fare! The Cafe is quaint and inviting and the shop offers a variety of items to start and continue making progress on the path. And there are a variety of accommodations to choose from.
