At Elevate, we provide complete Physical Therapy services for your outpatient rehabilitation needs, along the continuum from acute healing to functional retraining to sport specific training. Our Pilates integrated Physical Therapy approach combines traditional manual therapy and therapeutic interventions with Pilates-based exercise. This synergistic method helps to change movement patterns through your body to create a dynamic balance between mobility and stability, strength and flexibility.

Mara has worked in a variety of settings as a Physical Therapist, including inpatient acute and transitional care, inpatient rehabilitation, and in both outpatient hospital-based and private practice clinics. The diversity of her clinical experiences provides her with a unique ability to care for patients of all ages with a full spectrum of needs. She can tailor therapies for athletic, neurological, medical and orthopedic injuries, or help you achieve your personal wellness goals by increasing strength and flexibility.
In the future, Mara plans to promote the fusion of Pilates into the world of rehabilitation by engaging in research related to Physical Therapy and exercise physiology. With this effort, she hopes to provide a more evidenced-based explanation for the “magic†of Pilates. Mara is aiming to advance her education with a PhD and plans to continue to develop her role as a Pilates Educator.
Mara is a wife, a mother and a dog lover. She is inspired by the Rocky Mountains surrounding the Fraser Valley and hopes to e l e v a t e you with a unique style of compassionate and individualized care.
