We are located on 20 grassy acres behind the treed primary sand dune of the endless South Ballina Beach – known as a great left hand surf break! Every year surfers’ from around the globe come to check out our world famous surfing beach! To get to the beach it is a short walk from your bungalow or tent – about 4 to 8 minutes walking. We are also opposite the wide and serene Mobbs Bay on the Richmond River. Also we are the Ballina home to the Byron Arts circus and flying trapeze school.

During school holidays there is a festival feeling with African drummers, folk musicians and activities for the children including tie dyeing, kidz klub, circus, flying trapeze, music workshops, aboriginal dance and song troupes – a really great Ballina holiday feeling. We specialise in catering to large groups of all styles, weddings, fishing groups, youth and other groups, and of course 4Wheel Drivers love the great beach access. No permit required.Bring your kayak, bring rod, bring your dog, and the kids and mother in law too. We have room for everyone at our Ballina holiday accommodation top spot. The fishing is excellent with beach, river and rock wall spots (dhu fish, taylor, salmon, whiting, flat head, black fish, flat head, bream, snapper). If you are a retreat or event organiser, please consider holding your next event at the Ballina Beach Village. We can offer you exclusive use of the Village or you can conduct your retreat with minimal cost and effort on your part by using our event management team to handle all the catering and accommodation bookings and payments. You only have to arrange your retreat, conference, or event and leave all the accommodation and food bookings and arrangements to our very professional and supportive staff.

We offer a wide range of accommodation to suit most budgets and needs – from budget to superior. And we find camping is also a sought after option. Our catering staff are outstanding, and we can offer gourmet retreat menus that will delight your participants – as well as nourish them.
