WINDSOR STUDIO The vibe: Glamorous, light filled, serene, and airy. We’re inspired by: Chapel Street’s gorgeous cafes and boutiques serve us plenty of inspiration for our studio (and post-workout shopping sprees). What to expect: Our lucky Windsor clients get not one but two studios – duck into our first space to find polished white floorboards and dreamy natural light. But don’t get too relaxed. This is where you’ll find our signature (ahem, sweaty) barre, power pilates, and cardio classes. Head next door to our reformer studio, where you can kick back on our reformer machines via the fun, flowing sequences our teachers are known for. Down the hall are our (gorgeous) change rooms, showers, lockers, and waiting areas, complete with hot tea and magazines if you’ve got time to kill. Literal heaven. Where to head after class: You’re spoiled for choice. We can never pass up a smoothie – or even better, brunch – at Mr Mister. Journeyman cafe also do an epic spread, and the coffee at Onethirtytwo is out of this world. Which is why you’ll spot all the Barre Body teachers there any day of the week. (And why they may seem extra caffeinated during your morning class.) If Windsor were a woman, she’d be: Misty Copeland. Polished, articulate, and intelligent. And plenty gorgeous. The location: Barre Body Windsor is located on Chapel St, a short 3-5 minute walk from Windsor Station and about 10 minutes walk from Prahran Station. The nearest tram stop is stop 44 on the 78 route on Chapel St, which takes you right across the street from Barre Body. A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER, EMMA SEIBOLD Hi, I’m Emma Seibold, founder and creator of Barre Body. I launched our first Barre Body Studio in Melbourne’s Flinders Lane in 2012, and since then, Barre Body has grown to be one of Australia’s favourite workouts, some calling it the ultimate destination to tone and shape your body.
