If its Reformer Pilates, Yoga Classes or our amazing BODYROK Barre Classes that you’re after, we have it!Each workout guarantees you a total body workout ranging from high-intensity Boxilates and dynamic Reformer classes to our moderate Yoga and Power Flow classes.Work up a sweat with our boxing classes, barre cardio or HIIT classes (High Intensity Interval Training) and make every minute count. BODYROK caters for your body’s need with Group Classes, ONE-ON-ONE sessions or Small Group Sessions. PILATES
BODYROK Pilates focuses on the principles of utilizing core strength, body control, precision, and flow of functional movement with sequenced breath. BODYROK Pilates program is unique in that we are an intimate studio of expert instructors who work with our clients in customizing their fitness goals. Our evolved Pilates program also emphasizes the fundamental connection that Pilates creates between the mind and the body.Centred on creating core strength in the deep muscles of the abdomen, back, and hips, Pilates helps with better body alignment and posture. Our Pilates sequencing involves whole body, multi-joint movements that require full range of motion, which builds strength while helping create long, lean, and defined muscles. Pilates is an excellent modality for all people, including women who are in their pre or post-natal stages, those who want to gain an edge in their athletic pursuits, and individuals needing rehabilitation.
REFORMER Pilates is a piece of equipment that provides finely tuned resistance with a series of springs and ropes. BODYROK’s Reformer Group Classes build strength withoutâ€bulking upâ€, increases flexibility, fitness and agility, and develops optimal core control, creating flat abdominals, slender thighs, tones arms and a strong back. BODYROK offers 2 levels of Reformer Classes, Level 1 & Level 2. The Trainers at BODYROK guarantee a hardcore TOTAL BODY workout in both classes!
MAT Pilates (Core Sculpt Class) is performed on the floor using a range of props and your own body weight throughout the entire BODYROK workout. BODYROK Mat Classes offer you a total body workout focusing on creating core strength in the deep muscles of the abdomen, back, hips and arms. Utilize every muscle your body with BODYROK’s CORE SCULPT workout!
Cadillac/Trapeze Session
With a maximum of 2 people per class, your instructor will work closely with your body on the pilates cadillac. A pilates cadillac has all the bells and whistles you could possibly want to tone and strengthen every muscle group. There are so many elements to the pilates cadillac: leg springs, arm springs, fuzzy loops to hang from, a push-through bar to stretch you out, and even a trapeze.
YOGA
At BODYROK we offer Yoga classes catering to each stage of your progression. From beginner through to an advanced practitioner level.In class you’ll receive the appropriate guidance, correction and adjustments to nurture and progressyour practice, and deepen your understanding of Yoga.When necessary you’ll be shown how to use various yoga props correctly, to facilitate awareness and safety in your practice by your BODYROK Trainer.Whatever your current physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state, BODYROK classes will help you feel more connected, more balanced, and more whole.
Yoga – Basics
Whether you are new to yoga and want a slow paced class to learn the basics or have been practicing for a while and want to refine your postures- this is the class for you! During this complete practice we will explore alignment and purpose – giving you the tools to confidently join any class on our schedule.Great for beginners!
Yin
Slower, gentler and intended to move your mind into a quiet, meditative state. This class invites you to create a space for stillness, whilst releasing tension in the body to allow the tendons and ligaments to stretch. Poses are held for a longer period of time, allowing gravity to lengthen the body whilst relaxing the mind. This will compliment your Vinyasa practise, assisting areas of the body to open and create depth in certain movements.*For all levels of fitness including beginners
Vinyasa
A dynamic flow, where all movements are designed to wake up the body and focus on the mind. This class is based around a sequence of smoothly transitioned poses syncronized with the breath. This particular type of practise will help to improve strength, flexibility and balance, whilst assisting with weight loss and reduce stress levels.
