AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Humming Puppy acknowledges the origins of yoga from the motherland of India. We pay deep respect to the teachers who have come before us and are committed to honouring the roots of yoga in our offerings. We acknowledge the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We pay our respects to their elders, past present and emerging and extend this to all First Nations people recognising their ongoing connection to ancient wisdom, land, waters and community. OUR EXPERIENCE WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT As a space for pause and sanctuary, we provide a yoga experience that honours traditional yogic practices. Central to our philosophy we guide movement alongside a curated and resonant ‘Hum’. A frequency of our own design to deeply soothe, or to simply generate good vibes. OUR STYLE OF YOGA Our classes are not based on any one yoga style but reflect authentically the inspirations and backgrounds of our teachers. All offerings will include the fundamental principles of breath- pranayama, movement-asana and awareness- meditation. THE HUM IN HUMMING PUPPY Humming Puppy offers a revered space to practice and one that reverberates with a ‘Hum’ in place of music. A soundscape that combines both digital and organic sound frequencies; specifically 7.83hz and 40hz. THE AMENITIES We want you to travel light - emotionally and physically - so we provide all students with mats by Manduka - considered the best in the business! They are closed-cell, contain no latex and we meticulously clean and sanitise them for you before each and every class.
