I am absolutely overjoyed with The Yoga Well and all of the teachers I have met so far. Vinyasa is offering me the challenge I was searching for and I like to go between the beginners and the intermediate classes depending on my energy levels and schedule. Barbara and Monique's' 'Yin' classes are also new to me and I absolutely love the balance that they offer to complement the 'Yang' style generally practiced.

I have been active my whole life, playing soccer, running, golf; really anything and even doing the odd triathlon. So when I came to yoga, I thought I was fit and relatively strong. Back pain after a 7’s soccer tournament convinced me to try a different type of fitness: yoga. I was hoping that yoga would help manage the pain and improve my overall flexibility and some strength.
""To my surprise, private sessions with Marita at The Yoga Well helped that and with so much more. I have been training with Marita for about six months now. (Let me add that I had the flexibility of a stiff board). Yoga has not only improved my flexibility and strength but also every other aspect of the sports I play. I have regained some speed and agility, I’m stronger, more balanced and stable in playing soccer, my running lighter and strides are longer and even my swimming stroke is longer.

My first few visits to the Yoga Well were a love hate relationship. I loved to go, but hated being there..... Now 6 months in, it's the most sacred place in my life. It has brought peace, strength and mental toughness to my whole being. I honestly have withdrawals if I don't go every couple of days. Marita, Lisa and Barbara you all are amazing! You have revolutionised my life.

I was really nervous about starting classes as I have tried yoga in the past but never continued as I have never felt very comfortable in classes and have not felt so encouraged to continue. I have never really understood the concepts and never really known what to do. Ever since I started the class with Monica I have felt such a joy! I really love it so much and I really look forward to going every week!

Marita is an amazing instructor. I started practising yoga in 2007 and haven’t had a teacher like her – professional, calm, knowledgeable, nurturing and non-intrusive.
