A perfect balance between strength and flexibility The Pilates training method is named after the German Joseph H. Pilates (1880-1967). He was a passionate and brilliant man who from childhood was obsessed with health, wellbeing and uniting body and mind. From that obsession the Pilates method is born. For over 100 years his exercises use the abdomen, lower back and buttocks as the center of power. In his training, the emphasis is on proper breathing and finding the right balance between strength and flexibility. In contrast to exercising with weights, Pilates lengthens muscles so your body is going to look longer and slimmer. Over 20 years of experience Chrisl Muls is the inspirer of Christl Clear Pilates. She graduated with a degree in physical education at the VUB in Brussels. At that same university she worked as an assistant thereafter. Meanwhile, over more than 20 years she is a professional in the world of fitness.

The exercises are performed on the Mat , the reformer unit and the MVe Chair , sometimes with smaller equipment. This exercise system was created 90 years ago by the legendary Joseph Pilates . It is based on the trinity Mind , Body and Spirit . People often move without thinking about it, even when they exercise. When Pilates is just very important to center your mind and completely focus on each exercise. We call this the body-and-mind connection . Each exercise is monitored and executed with great precision. The correct breathing pattern supports the exercise. The six Pilates principles are: control, concentration, centering, breathing, precision and flow. Each movement is carried out in accordance with these principles, wherein the one gracefully in the other flows over, and there is a complete work-out. Yoga citta Vrtti nirodha - yoga calms the waves of the mind Yoga ensures the development of a clear, relaxed and creative spirit. Yoga brings balance and activates the self-healing power of the body. Practicing yoga helps to this inner evolution. Even on a physical level will have yoga effect and make your body stronger, more flexible and healthier. In yoga we approach the body holistically by allowing the full movements: standing poses, sitting, lying, inversions, twists. The yoga postures activate the muscles that we hardly use in daily life and stretching the muscles that are under stress every day. As a result, we bring the body back in balance, rejuvenate and strengthen it. After a yoga lesson then you feel that you have a complete physical workout behind.
