The exercises are performed on the Mat , the reformer unit and the MVe Chair , sometimes with smaller equipment. This exercise system was created 90 years ago by the legendary Joseph Pilates . It is based on the trinity Mind , Body and Spirit . People often move without thinking about it, even when they exercise. When Pilates is just very important to center your mind and completely focus on each exercise. We call this the body-and-mind connection . Each exercise is monitored and executed with great precision. The correct breathing pattern supports the exercise. The six Pilates principles are: control, concentration, centering, breathing, precision and flow. Each movement is carried out in accordance with these principles, wherein the one gracefully in the other flows over, and there is a complete work-out.
