The practice of HATHA YOGA CONTEMPORARY preserves not only the whole philosophical tradition of Classical Yoga, but also techniques such as pranayama, mantras, meditation within the classroom, and to this the dynamic and vigorous flow of more modern techniques such as VINYASA, VINYASA FLOW , KUNDALINÍ YOGA in order to release the creative energy of each one through perspiration, which in addition to relieving tensions brings greater flexibility and lightness to the body, thus enabling more subtle and meditative states of the mind. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga has been taught by the late Pattabhi Jois since 1948, and involves a sequence of Asanas (Hatha Yoga postures) that the practitioner follows in the same order all the time.
