Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
This training will have you ready to teach in the most popular and in-demand styles of yoga: Vinyasa, Yin, and a bit of Hatha. You will learn to develop your own sequences based on the needs of your students and based on what is authentic to you. You will have the foundation to lead others confidently, knowledgeable, and safely. The styles that will be practiced during the training are Vinyasa (flow), Hatha (traditional), Yin, and yoga Nidra.

Yoga Maya Uvita is about nature and peaceful co-existence. There are no televisions but yes, Prana and Bliss, some of the casitas, have air-conditioning and hot water amazing outdoor showers.
Fresh fruit will be provided daily. Please note that daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are not included.
Please book your flight to arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). It is recommended that the arrival at the YMU is no later than 3 p.m. the day the training begins. Possibly even arriving a full day earlier. Consider spending the night in San Jose and take a domestic flight the next morning to arrive at Manuel Antonio/Quepos or take the shuttle.
If you prefer to take public transportation, there is a daily bus service leaving from San Jose to Uvita and vice versa. The bus ride takes approximately 4-5 hours from San Jose and costs approximately a whopping 8 USD per person each way.
Schedules vary based on seasons. There are generally two bus trips a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Their are many shuttle options from private to shared. Please contact Yoga Maya for recommendations.
