We are Amar and Brigitta and we welcome you to our little home – Galaxy Jungle Huts.
Wild, peace and serenity cocoon our resort in the vastness of the Indian jungle surrounded by trees, flowers, monkeys and butterflies with infinite space to explore. Amidst the lush greenery lies our nine hand-built eco huts, nestled into the hill or centered around our jungle garden. Each hut has been carefully constructed from natural and locally sourced materials, complete with adjoining bathroom and open air showers.
Together with our neighbours, we live as an eco-village, growing our own vegetables and preparing tasty homemade food and barbecues in our restaurant. Our aim is to align and live in unison with our natural environment, offering travellers in our jungle lodge a blissful escape from modern day life which is in walking distance to the most tranquil beaches in South Goa – Agonda Beach and Butterfly Beach.
Galaxy Jungle Huts is located at a beautiful slope with stunning views into the lush greenery of the Indian tropical forest. Our three Hillside Huts sit here with a spacious balcony terrace, your place to relax and unwind or to get in touch with the local wildlife. You might have a chance to catch a glimpse of monkeys swinging past or the sound of peacocks calling from the bushes.
For your comfort each hut is equipped with a king-size bed with fresh bedsheets, towels and a mosquito net. You will enjoy an open air shower in the attached bathroom which welcomes the jungle inside with plants and a lucent roof to take showers under the tree canopy. We used local resources to create each of the bathrooms such as bamboo, coconut and tree trunk from the jungle.
In our kitchen at Galaxy Jungle Huts we offer daily fresh and tasty food. On our Menu are typical Indian Thalis with dal and seasonal vegetables, a variety of breakfast options as well as intercontinental dishes influenced from travellers and volunteers from different cultures. Our restaurant is serving mainly vegetarian meals however on pre-order we can also include other wishes. We are regularly having Barbecues and Bonfires to enjoy some extra tasty bites from the fire and get together with other travellers. Our vegetables are fresh from the local markets if we are not growing them by ourselves as for example Lemongrass and Tulsi we are harvesting all year from our own garden fresh for your tea.
