My long-time girlfriend and me came to Gokarna in 2006 to take a break from the fast paced western world and to learn more about yoga and meditation. After teaching at Om beach for some years we decided to create and build our own place at the golden sands of Kudle beach with the help of Govinda. Since the first year we live in a tree house, first on a Cashew tree and then on different Banyan trees around the property. A childhood dream came true. Now we received a 4 times Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor which shows you that costumers are happy with the way how we manage Namaste Yoga Farm.
With the help of local worker we try to modify our place every year a little bit more and make it more beautiful so you can feel home away from home. Luisa and me try to make your stay as pleasent as possible and anything disturbing your vacation please talk to us. We are here to help you. has become our second home for 6 month every year and the rest we spend in Europe organizing retreats along the spanish coast or just travel around Europe. Mostly Germany and Spain, though this year 2014 we taught yoga at the Camping Riedsee close to Donaueschingen from June to end of August.
Hatha Yoga Retreats in Gokarna
Namaste Yoga Farm is located on a hill-top overlooking the Arabian ocean only 3 min walk down to Kudle beach. This organic venue with its small live-in community, draws its powerful energy from the strong, raw elements that converge on this powerful, magical spot. Yoga is practised within a lovely 900 square/foot deck in the garden, complimented by the sound of the ocean. Morning meditations will be held close to a Banyan tree, as the day begins. Climate allowing for temperatures from night to day of 22-32 degrees approx. Gokarna’s, glorious beaches are one of the reason to visit, with prices and visitor numbers both lower than up the coast in Goa. Gokarna is about 200 km north of Mangalore (7 hr by bus) and 70 km southwest of Goa. Gokarna is a pilgrim town, one of the most important in South.
Hatha yoga classes twice daily for 2 persons included. Course for beginner and intermediate residents. Drop-in class for non-residents 7 euro . We provide the yoga mats and Props. Private one-to-one classes are available.
