Brahmachari Shri Devendra Swarup ji Maharaj bought land in Bhimgoda, in the year 1972, on the banks of the Ganga Ghat in Haridwar, a very holy place. In the virtuous memory of Adiguru Brahmachari Shri Jairam Ji Maharaj, the work of construction of a huge building on this land was started in the year 1974. After twelve years of tireless work, this building was completed in 1986. Equipped with public service and modern amenities, this ashram has attained immense fame in a short span of time.
Param Pujya Brahmachari Shri Devendra Swaroop Ji Maharaj has established charitable hospital, granary and library etc. along with this building for public welfare.
Very lively depiction of very beautiful, ultra modern automatic floats at Shri Jairam Ashram, Haridwarhas gone. The huge artwork of the temple and ocean-churning in front of the main gate is indescribable. At night, when the fountain is running between different colored lights, its image is made on seeing it. Every day there is an influx of travelers to see all these.
There are a total of 512 rooms in the ashram, in which proper accommodation is provided to the pilgrims. There is a charitable hospital, in which free medical treatment is provided to the poor and travelers, free medicines are given. Free eye-camps are organized in the hospital on time, in which the eyes of the poor and helpless are operated free of cost. They are provided with free glasses. Thus Shri Jairam Ashram, Haridwar has attained immense fame in a short span of time.
Two disciples of Pujyapad Brahmibhut Shri Gangaswaroop Brahmachari Ji Maharaj were Shri Devendra Swaroop Ji Brahmachari Ji Maharaj and Swami Narayan Swaroop Brahmachari Ji Maharaj.
Pujyapad Shri N.Rayan Swaroop Brahmachari Ji Maharaj who was born in district-Jind, Haryana and who was full of sharp intellect since his childhood. Throughout his life, he tried to serve Sanskrit scholars, saints and every section of the society. He always served the pilgrims selflessly in the fairs held from time to time at Allahabad Kumbh Mela, Phalgumele, Haridwar.
Pujya Shri Narayan Swaroop Brahmachari Ji Maharaj established Sanskrit schools and two ashrams - Shri Jairam Niwas and Manidweep - for the propagation of religion, in which proper accommodation is provided to the travelers.
