At Ashtanga Yoga Mysore we believe that yoga is not a mere keep-fit device. Asanas and Pranayama are no doubt a good means for achieving a perfect physiological condition. But these surely are not the be-all and end-all of yoga. Keeping this in mind we have designed our course giving equal importance to other parts of the course like Philosophy, Meditation, Anatomy and the Art of teaching. Two hours of intensive asanas practice along with two more hours of adjustments & teaching sessions everyday provides students an opportunity to enhance their understanding of asanas and teaching skills. All asanas classes are led except on Saturdays when Mysore Style is done allowing students to explore their strengths on their own under the supervision of a teacher. This comprehensive 200 Hour Teacher Training course is taught by a team of spiritual gurus with many years of practice in their respective fields. After completing the course successfully you will be able to teach Ashtanga Yoga or Hatha Yoga depending on the course which you have enrolled into to beginners or yoga practitioners. Certification provided by Ashtanga Yoga Mysore at the end of the course is approved by Yoga Alliance.
