Ayushka is a center that is focused on reaching out to as many people as possible to relieve them from mental and physical pain through yoga postures, modern yogic and ancient yogic methods, breath work, yogic body massages, guided meditations , with utmost care and a passion to heal.
Vinyasa, Ashtanga vinyasa, Shivananda, Restorative and Iyengar yoga depending on the requirement of the students. Even though he has trained in many traditions he resonates more with Iyengar method in Asana practice.
Following the Iyengar approach, which emphasizes systematic instructions in the fundamentals of body alignment in a variety of yoga poses. His classes are focused on mindfulness and on supporting the development of stretching, breathing, relaxing and gradually developing mobility and strength. Through sharing his own experience, he brings to students a holistic perspective on Yoga. Props and hands-on adjustment are provided as needed to promote an increased level of confidence, deeper understanding, and to make the poses more accessible and therapeutic experience to everyone.
Accommodations are made for students with injuries and medical conditions. The key to a successful practice, he believes, is in meeting the physical body’s limitations with peaceful acceptance and moving fearlessly into possibilities of greater strength and flexibility through patient and consistent practice.
