Sir Panduranga Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Kendra ® was established in the year 2005, under the guidance of Late. Sri Balaji Rao Thombre. From its very inception, authorities of SPPYSK® are working hard to empower people about Yoga to be present in the healthy physical, mental and spiritual society. Our organisation has conducted free Yogasana classes, and several programs to spread the significance and awareness of yoga.
The organisation has conducted many inter-school level, state level, national level and international level yogasana competitions in order to create a platform for Yogasana practitioners to exemplify their achievement and passion towards Yogasana and have made this as a part of universal happiness. Our organisation has honoured many legendary teachers for their precious contribution in the field of yoga like Sri K. Pattabi Jois, Sharath Jois, B.N.S. Iyengar and many more.
In the year 2012, the organisation has formed another branch by the name Mysore Ashtanga Yoga Shala under the guidance of Dr Ramesh Shetty, to promote the Teacher Training Course so that our trainees who blossom as teachers spread the fragrance of yoga around the world. Mysore Ashtanga Yoga Shala offers 200, 300 and 500 hours intense and residential Yoga Teacher Training Course affiliated to Yoga Alliance USA in the world-renowned Yoga centre in Mysore, where importance will be given for both theory and Practical. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is designed in such a manner as it is beneficial for both beginner and advanced practitioner to improve their physical, mental and spiritual intensity. Our course schedule includes Ashtanga Vinyasa Yogasana Practice, Asana Alignment, Pranayama, Yoga Theory, Anatomy and Yoga Sutra. These topics which we have preferred are very much intensive and interesting, after completing the course Students will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance and will be qualified to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga worldwide.
Yoga Alliance
Mysore Ashtanga Yoga Shala has met all the requirement of Yoga Alliance RYS of the United States of America for 200 hours, 300 hours and 500 hours credential and it is a Certified Registered Yoga School. Here we offer 200 hours and 300 hours resident Teacher Training Course in two different forms of Yoga that is Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Hatha Yoga. After completing 200hour, 300 hours or 500 hours Teacher Training Course with us, students will be qualified to register as Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
