The resort is owned by M/s AnandaniketanAyur Resorts Pvt. Ltd, with our corporate office at India Tower, Edappazhani, Trivandrum 695014, Kerala, India. The Company is promoted by Mr. M. Thajudeen, a Chartered Accountant based in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, and Mr. GianniDeMozzi, a Canadian-born Italian citizen who has worked with M/s Ferrero Rocher, Italy. The company is in collaboration with M/s Usha Veda, Switzerland (www.usha.ch), the first school accredited by the Swiss government to train Ayurvedic therapist OrTra TC, in order to get the Federal Diploma.
Panchakarma is Ayurveda's one of the ancient and important purification and detoxification treatments. In Sanskrit, the word 'Panchakarma literally means "five therapies", which suggests that it is a comprehensive system of knowledge and practices to purify the body of toxins and restore it to balance. The five therapeutic means of eliminating toxins from the body, which constitute the Panchakarma, are Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti and Raktamoskshana. The therapies deal with stress related problems and the toxins that are triggering ailments and these treatments concentrate on creating a balance between the doshas. Although Panchakarma is a highly effective therapy, if the person follow a special detoxification diet, along with the treatments.
