The studio is so nice. I went there and I took a Mysore practice. Sergio was the teacher and he is so kind and helped me with some asanas. The place is clean and is close to the colosseum. The class was €20 and it totally worth it

Simply, the best yoga studio I have ever been to. The teachers are extremely professional, knowledgeable, effective, inspiring and supportive. A truly welcoming yoga community where I immediately felt at home. Grateful for being a student here.

I had never practiced yoga, but two years ago I landed here partly for fun, partly by chance. I still remember that after the introductory lesson I returned home refreshed but also a little shocked by this practice that I have never stopped since that day. Sergio, Rossana and Maria Paola are exceptional teachers: every day they help me to believe in myself, to cultivate patience and humility. This, beyond practice, is the most beautiful teaching.

Fantastic Shala, highly experienced and professional teachers but not only that... to teach this practice it is not enough to be technically capable and prepared but you need empathy and charisma, qualities that I found for the first time in Maria Paola, Rossana and Sergio .

Signing up for AYRI, thus leaving my old Yoga school and all the people I've been practicing with for a long time, wasn't an easy choice for me. I've thought about it a lot. But, after a few months, I can say that it was the best choice I could have made.
The teachers are wonderful. Full of experience. Able to look at people and go beyond: understand them. Every day I am given discipline, encouragement - even with a glance during the most difficult Asanas/Transitions for me, trust (which, despite still being a very shy beginner, is incredibly translating into self-confidence), advice and effective fixes. Penalty.
Since I've been practicing at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, even just listening to the deep breaths of the people who practice with me, I've begun to perceive the magic that can arise from this incredible practice, which I love more and more every day. A practice that, for the first time, leads me to 'feel' rather than 'think'. Entering this Shala full of energy - even on the most difficult days - reconnects me with myself, but also with all the people who are close to me. Who maybe I don't even know but who still share that moment with me, that alchemy. That trip. I recommend anyone interested in this style of yoga to treat yourself to a special moment and practice in Via Annia.
